What we do
Shine Drama Workshops designs and delivers tailor- made workshops which use the medium of Drama to enrich and enhance the curriculum taught in school and in other venues in the public sector. We pride ourselves on our excellent knowledge of the curriculum and our workshop leaders have much experience working in schools, teaching a wide range of subjects and have particular expertise in Drama.
We work with children aged 3- 16 years across the whole curriculum, providing workshops that suit the individual group at a specific time in their education.
We also work with staff in schools, providing sessions on how Drama can support work in the classroom and how to include simple drama skills and techniques which can be used in any subject area to enrich and enhance pupils learning.
We believe that Drama can be used as a tool to enhance knowledge, develop skills in problem solving, team work and debating as well as building confidence and self - esteem. We prepare young people to be active members in society that can see a variety of viewpoints, make their thoughts and beliefs understood by others.
All workshops use drama skills and techniques to practically explore the your chosen theme or topic in a practical and safe way.
